About Evoke Films
Evoke Films creates music videos, brand films, event coverage and photography for artists, businesses and organisations. Based in Christchurch, we bring a considered visual approach to every project, from a live performance to a brand campaign.
Our work starts with understanding what you want to make and what it needs to communicate. From there, we develop the direction, plan the shoot and shape the finished piece through editing, colour and sound.
We care about how everything comes together: the shots we capture, the pace of the edit, and the relationship between picture and sound. Every project calls for a different approach, whether that means bold, stylised visuals or giving a real story space to unfold.
Bring us a clear brief, a rough idea or existing footage. We’ll work with you to find the direction and turn it into something ready to share.
How a project runs
Start with the idea
Send through your track, brief or event details, along with any dates and references. You don’t need to have everything figured out.
Make a plan
Together, we’ll work through the creative direction, what needs to be captured, and the films, photos or social edits you need. Then we’ll agree on the scope, timing and cost.
Shoot, edit & refine
We capture the footage and shape the edit, then review it with you and refine the details before delivering the finished work.
Behind the scenes
Let’s make something
Tell us what you have in mind. A few details and a link or two are enough to start.
